Man United fans SLAM VAR online over controversial decisions involving Shaw and Maguire
The Man United faithful were left scratching their heads over a few controversial VAR decisions that went against their team in the first half vs Burnley.

Man United moved three points clear at top of Premier League table following ir 1-0 win against Burnley away at Turf Moor on Tuesday night. Paul Pogba's well-struck volley with 20 minutes remaining in game ensured that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's will head into ir clash against Liverpool as leaders of pack. However, despite result, United faithful were fuming at some controversial VAR decisions in first half of game, including a Harry Maguire goal which was ruled out due to a foul against Englishman.

Burnley vs Man United VAR controversy with Luke Shaw and Harry Maguire
In 26th minute of game, Man United left-back Luke Shaw tackled Johann Berg Gudmundsson and United launched a quick attack at or end. visitors had a potential goal-scoring opportunity for Edinson Cavani prevented when ball struck Robbie Brady on hand outside Clarets’ box. Brady also fouled Uruguayan in process and United were awarded a free-kick.

Brady received a yellow card for his foul but VAR n began to analyse wher Irishman should’ve, in fact, been sent off for denying United a goalscoring opportunity. Upon closer inspection, ir attention was drawn to Shaw's tackle on Gudmundsson earlier in same phase of play, which looked rar nasty in slow motion.

Although Shaw appeared to get a piece of ball he caught Gudmundsson quite high on shin with his studs in his follow-through. Referee Friend was looking at potential red cards for both Brady and Shaw in a review which ended up taking four minutes. At end of drama, yellow card for Brady was revoked due to Shaw's earlier challenge, which earned him a yellow card and Burnley were n awarded a free-kick.

In 36th minute, Man United captain Harry Maguire saw his towering header ruled out for a foul on Erik Pieters. Maguire found net with Shaw's cross and raced away to celebrate but Friend ruled out centre-back's goal for a debatable foul on Burnely's Erik Peters. Although decision seemed a bit soft, VAR decided to stick with on-field call.
United fans took to social media to voice ir displeasure. On Twitter, one wrote, "Maguire goal disallowed because he can jump higher." Ar added, " game has gone soft. VAR is ruining sport".Meanwhile, a third fan claimed: "Absolutely thing wrong with that Maguire header. How was that t given?"
