Manchester City are aiming to sign Kingsley Coman as Sane's replacement
Manchester City are looking to sign Bayern Munich winger Kingsley Coman as the ideal replacement for winger Leroy Sane, who might move to Bayern in the summer.

Premier League champions Manchester City are reportedly eyeing a move for Bayern Munich winger Kingsley Coman as a replacement for injured winger Leroy Sane. Currently injured, Leroy Sane has been linked with a move to Allianz Arena since last summer, however, a move failed to materialise after player’s injury. Leroy Sane was ruled out for seven months after he suffered an ACL injury while playing against Liverpool in August 2019.

Kingsley Coman has played under Pep Guardiola
It is believed that Manchester City manr Pep Guardiola is fond of Kinglsey Coman, as French International had played under him for a year, way back in 2012. Guardiola had mand player during his stint as club’s manr at Bayern Munich. Coman started his career at Paris Saint-Germain, subsequently playing for Juventus and n for Bayern. He has played a total of 139 games for Bavarians and has mand to score 28 goals so far.

Leroy Sane has been one of most important players for Manchester City that won back-to-back Premier League titles. He has made a total of 134 appearances in all competitions for City, scoring 39 goals, while assisting on 45 occasions. It is believed that if Sane successfully secures a move to Bayern, it could compromise Coman's first-team place, with Serge Gnabry and Ivan Perisic already fighting for a place in team.

Kingsley Coman has made 10 Bundesliga appearances so far this season, having scored just once. He has four goals to his credit, after making his debut for France in 2015. According to reports, City would be hoping for a swap deal, if Bayern try to sign Sane. While a January 2020 move does t seem possible at this point of time, as both clubs continue competing on all fronts, it is however believed that a deal could be struck next summer if everything falls into place.
