Manchester United Agree Blockbuster Double Swoop For Bayern Munich Stars
A week prior to the beginning of new Premier League season, Manchester United have closed the signing of two Bayern Munich superstars.
Manchester United started their new season with a defeat to crosstown rivals Manchester City in the FA Community Shied as they lost 7-6 on penalties after the scores were tied 1-1 at full time.
However, it turned out to be an eventful day for Manchester United fans as they closed in on two massive signings of Bayern Munich star players in sensational double sway.
Manchester United complete signing of Bayern Munich stars
Manchester United endured a very rough campaign last year as they finished 8th in Premier League and only just qualified for Europa League thanks to their FA Cup triumph.
Heading into the new season, Manchester United needed to address their defensive woes from last campaign and they have done exactly that by snapping up Lille's Lenny Yoro and now have reportedly completed the signing of Bayer Munich star centre back Mathijs De Ligt.
According to top journalists Farbizio Romano and David Ornstein, Manchester United have agreed to sign Mathijs De Ligt from Manchester United for 45M Euros + 5M Euros in addons taking the total worth to 50 Million Euros. Not only, De Ligt Manchester United have also closed the signing of Bayern Munich midfielder Noussair Mazraoui for 15 Million Euros plus 5 Million Euros in addons.
To make room for the deal, Manchester United have sold right back Aaron Wan Bissaka to West Ham.
This comes as a huge boost to Manchester United entering into the new season as they have addressed key holes in their squad persisting from last season.
United's injury concern
Manchester United have been ravaged with some key injury concerns entering into the new season. Their star striker in Rasmus Hojlund is expected to miss at least a month due to picking up an injury in pre-season.
While their new signing of Leny Yoro is out for the first three months after picking up fracture. Manchester United will be hoping that the signing of De Ligt and Mazraoui will help them cope with injuries and take their team to the next level.
