'Get Him': Manchester United Boss Erik Ten Hag Sends Out Transfer Plea For Bayern Munich Star
Manchester United manager Erik Ten Hag has sent a transfer plea to his bosses at Old Trafford to go and get the signing of Bayern Munich star completed.

Manchester United are looking to improve their squad in the summer transfer window as they aim to get back to English football and European football under manager Erik Ten Hag.
Manchester United's new sporting leaders in INEOS group and Sir Jim Ratcliffe have already completed the signing of two talented young players in Benfica's striker Joshua Zirkee and Lille's defender Leny Yoro. But manager Erik Ten Hag is still not satisfied with the business and has sent a transfer plea to United bosses for Bayern Munich star.

Erik Ten Hag wants Manchester United to sign Bayern Munich star
Erik Ten Hag has confirmed Manchester United's interest in signing Bayern Munich star Dutch defender Mathijs De Ligt. Manchester United are closely linked with the signature of De Ligt this summer and have reported to have agreed terms with the players.
However, the Red Devils are yet to finalise a deal with Bayern Munich as they want to peg down the Bavarian outfit's asking price for the player. As it turns out, Erik Ten Hag has made it clear that he would love having De Ligt in United's squad for next season and has urged INEOS to get the deal done.

Erik Ten Hag in recently confirmed that he wanted to sign De Ligt in 2022 but the player was already in advanced talks with Bayern Munich.

βI know Matthijs well, of course, I'm not going to deny that. Two years ago I already wanted to get him, but he was already in very advanced talks with Bayern Munich. But believe it or not: his name didn't come specifically from me in this process,β said Erik Ten Hag on signing Mathijs De Ligt to AD.nl.

Erik Ten Hag praises Manchester United's transfer activity
While, Erik Ten Hag would like the signing of Mathijs De Ligt, he has however been impressed of how the new ownership has brought in players during the summer. '
"We still have to wait and see whether De Ligt will come. But the good thing is: during my vacation I was out of the process for three or four weeks. During that period, it was really the club, the newly established scouting and recruitment department, that brought in these players," said Erik Ten Hag.
The signing of Mathijs De Ligt would go a long way to address the biggest concern Manchester United faced last season that was their defence.
