Manchester United have nine players set for international duty over the coming days from their senior squad. The number would have been higher if not injuries to Paul Pogba, Anthony Martial and Aaron Wan-Bissaka. Here’s a look at the players representing their respective nations during the international break.
Manchester United – Players on International Duty
Harry Maguire and Marcus Rashford are the two Manchester United stars been called up by Gareth Southgate for their upcoming fixtures against the Czech Republic (Oct 12) and Bulgaria (Oct 15). Wins in both the fixtures should see England qualify for the Euro 2020.

David De Gea has been called up by Spain for their upcoming fixtures. It can also be an early qualification to Euro 2020 should Spain win both their fixtures against Norway (Oct 13) and Sweden (Oct 16). As for De Gea, he has a battle on his hands for the number 1 spot with Kepa Arrizabalaga. It’ll be interesting to see who gets the nod to start in these fixtures.

Daniel James has seen his bright form for United being rewarded with a call up in Ryan Giggs’ Welsh squad. Wales has fixtures against Slovakia (Oct 11) and Croatia (Oct 14) which are crucial if they are to automatically qualify for the tournament next year. James would likely be looking to get back his goal-scoring touch, having scored thrice for United in August and once for Wales in September and none since.
