An Argentis Juniors defender suffered a full dislocation of his left knee on Tuesday during a Copa Libertadores match in Bues Aires.
Lucia Sánchez, 29, suffered serious injury after a challenge by veteran left-back Marcelo, w playing for Brazil's Fluminense. His teammates initially believed he had broken his leg, but a medical report published by club said it was a full dislocation.

“I lived a very tough moment on pitch today," Marcelo said on social media. “With intention I injured a fellow footballer. I want to wish you best possible recovery, Lucia Sánchez."
Argentis Juniors thanked Brazilian club and footballer for ir concern for Sánchez.

“We are rivals, t enemies,” Argentinian club said.
Fluminense coach Fernando Diniz, who is also Brazil's national team coach until middle of next year, said in a press conference that Marcelo did t deserve to be sent off and called incident “an unfortunate event.”

Gabriel Avalos opened scoring with a volley for hosts in 14th minute of first leg of round-of-16 match. Argentis later saw its goalkeeper Alexis Martin Arias sent off in 76th minute, and be replaced by substitute midfielder Lucia Heredia until end of match.
Fluminense took advant of opportunity and equalized with Samuel Xavier in 87th minute from long range.
