Marcus Rashford injured after knee-slide celebration vs Chelsea
Marcus Rashford remains a doubt for Manchester United's trip to Bournemouth. The 22-year old may have suffered an injury during the 2-1 win over Chelsea.

The fourth round of the Carabao Cup saw some exhilarating action. Liverpool played out a thrilling 5-5 draw against Arsenal, only to emerge winners after a penalty shootout. Marcus Rashford starred in Manchester United's 2-1 win over Chelsea at Stamford Bridge. The England international scored a sublime free-kick to put United ahead in the 73rd minute.
Rashford then went on to celebrate his sensational strike by sliding down on his knees in front of the Old Trafford faithful. While Rashford's free-kick may have secured Manchester United's passage through to the quarter-final, the 22-year old striker was subbed off seven minutes after his celebration. Rashford then appeared to have an ice pack on his knee as he watched United hold on to the 2-1 lead from the bench.

Marcus Rashford's knee-slide celebration may have caused to him to sustain an injury. As a result, Rashford now remains a doubt for Manchester United's visit to Bournemouth. Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, however, does not believe that it was Rashford's celebration that caused the injury. In a press conference, Solskjaer went on to say that Rashford may have picked up the knock owing to a tackle, although it is difficult to pinpoint exactly which tackle led to the injury. When asked if he would ask his players to avoid sliding down on their knees in celebration, Solskjaer replied that he would not do so, as his players are free to celebrate however they wish, when they score a goal.
Whether Marcus Rashford sustained the knock owing to his knee-slide celebration or through a tackle, Solskjaer will be hoping that the 22-year old is fit to lead the line against Eddie Howe's side. Anthony Martial is back for the Red Devils. However, the French forward has recently recovered from an injury. Harry Maguire and Victor Lindelof also remain doubts for the fixture, while Nemanja Matic, Paul Pogba and Luke Shaw remain on the sidelines.
