Mason Greenwood: Manchester United youngster to start against Arsenal?

Manchester United will host Arsenal in the sixth matchweek of Premier League on Monday night. Mason Greenwood could start as Marcus Rashford is out injured.

Manchester United will host Arsenal on matchweek six of the Premier League on Monday night. Both the teams will be looking for a win after an inconsistent run so far. Manchester United are placed on the 11th position, scoring just eight goals in six games, while the Gunners are placed on the eighth position with 11 points. After the transfer of Romelu Lukaku and Alexis Sanchez to Inter Milan, United have been relying on their young forwards Marcus Rashford and his understudy - Mason Greenwood.

Talking to British media, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has promised that Mason Greenwood will probably feature in all his first-team plans this season. Mason Greenwood starred with his two goals against Astana and Rochdale in the cup competitions. The 17-year-old will probably be starting for Manchester United against Arsenal as Marcus Rashford has picked up an injury. The 17-year-old English forward has played four matches in Premier League, failing to score a goal.

Mason Greenwood: Andy Cole talks about the youngster

Talking to the British press, Manchester United legend Andy Cole conveyed the fear about his former team putting unnecessary pressure on Mason Greenwood. He said that Solskjaer should not put all the pressure on Mason Greenwood with Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford nursing injuries. He claimed that the youngster has got abundance quality as he can finish with the left as well as the right foot. Cole said that he is thrown into the field a bit early. Earlier than United wanted him to play due to injuries.
