Jose Mourinho boosts Saudi Arabia’s image as oil-rich nation unveils new sports academy

Tottenham boss Jose Mourinho sent a congratulatory message to Saudi Arabia over the unveiling of their new sports academy amid the Newcastle takeover deal.

On Monday, Saudi Arabia unveiled its plan for  Mahd Sports Acemy, which is aimed at producing and developing a new generation of athletes. Jose Mourinho sends a mess to Saudi Arabia after unveiling of Mahd Sports Acemy

president of Mahd Sports Acemy, Abdulla bin Faisal Hamm, is believed to be a close friend of Jose Mourinho. Hamm came up with idea to build sports acemy after Saudi Arabia's 5-0 defeat against Russia in  2018 World Cup. Jose Mourinho was full of praise for Hamm's idea and initiative to launch sports acemy in Saudi Arabia.

"When you think of big ideas and plans, re are plenty of negative thoughts. But you guys have reacted in most beautiful way", said Jose Mourinho in his video mess to Ministry of Sports. 'Special One' also touched upon investments and infrastructure at new sports acemy in kingdom. It is believed that Saudi Arabia is attempting to use Jose Mourinho to boost its im in world of global sports. FIFA President Gianni Infanti was also involved in opening ceremony of Mahd Sports Acemy. Infanti congratulated Saudi Arabia on opening of its new sports project, a project that will have a positive effect on football, given that it is  most popular sport in kingdom.
