Pep Guardiola is regarded as one of the finest football managers, and his illustrious career speaks for itself. He reached the pinnacle of success when he was a part of FC Barcelona, where he won multiple La Liga titles, two UCL titles and two UEFA Super Cups. His move to Bayern Munich in Germany also saw unmatched success as he helped the side win a FIFA Club World Cup and three back-to-back Bundesliga titles.

The Spanish football manager was one of the top contenders for the job since he was well versed in the English conditions due to his ongoing association with Manchester City FC. While Lee Carsely manages the English National Football side on an interim basis, Guardiola's future in City FC is also murky. But his focus remains on the EPL side.
