Manchester United manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, is hoping that his team will be able to beat Norwich City in an away match at Carrow Road on October 27. The Norwegian manager stated that the Red Devils will have to be at their best when they attempt to win their 3rd match of the season.
A hopeful Solskjaer
Solskjaer hoped that his team will be able to beat the team who sit at the second-bottom of the Premier League. He added that when he saw Norwich play against Liverpool, the team played with a lot of courage and desire to beat the Reds. He also added that Norwich City will be a difficult team to beat as they were one of the few Pep Guardiola's Manchester City.
Ole said that he will be able to field a fresh team as they have an injury boost after Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Anthony Martial played a crucial part in United's 1-0 Europa league win over Partizan on October 24.
A back-three for United?
Ole stated that the bulk injuries put them in a position that downgraded their performances but now he had many of the players up for selection. He plans on fielding a back three with the probable choices being Victor Lindelof as the right-back, Harry Maguire as the centre-back and Ashley Young as the left-back, who will be replacing the injured Luke Shaw.
A fighting chance for Manchester United
With forward, Anthony Martial, starting his first game after a long injury lay off since the month of August, in a 1-0 win against at Red Star Belgrade, Ole is hopeful that the forward's return will help United bag a lot more goals to their credit.
The Red Devils have been able to score only 6 goals in 9 games since Martial got injured but may have a strong attack against the Carrows with Rashford, Lingard, Martial and Daniel at the front line.
Although Manchester United will be without Paul Pogba, Luke Shaw, Nemanja Matic and Axel Tuanzebe who sprained his hip in a warmup during United's match against Partizan but Solsksjaer said that the team will not have to wait for that long to see the players back in action.
Manchester United next play against Norwich City on October 27 at the Carrow Road stadium. They have not slipped down to the 14th position after registering 2 wins, 4 draws and 3 losses in 9 games since Sir Alex Ferguson retired in 2013.
