re was an air of excitement for football fans across world on Friday, given new season of Premier League was about to start. But at same time, re was tension for Manchester United fans, given ir team were to play in opening fixture. Red Devils were to take 2015/16 champions Leicester City.

Mood amongst United fans was low, following ir abysmal performance in pre-season, and aver transfer window. While arrival of Fred, and to some extent Lee Grant and Diogo Dalot brought smile on ir faces, lack of furr signings was a bitter pill to swallow.

Red Devils had a shocker of a US tour, where y were all over place. Much of it was down to fact that most of senior players were missing post World Cup 2018. So, in all earnesty, fixture against Leicester would have been clear indicator regarding where team was heading.
