Pep Guardiola hit out at Premier League legends Sir Alex Ferguson and Arsene Wenger's transfer spending after Manchester City's transfer spend was questioned.

Pep Guardiola has hit out at criticism aimed towards Man City's transfer spending over years and has drawn parallels with spending of Sir Alex Ferguson and Arsene Wenger during ir legendary tenures at Manchester United and Arsenal respectively. Man City's two-year Champions League ban for breaching Financial Fair Play rules was overturned by CAS on Monday, which also saw ir €30m fine reduced to €10m. verdict drew staunch criticism, with both Jurgen Klopp and Jose Mourinho opposing reversal of ban.

Pep Guardiola has launched a staunch defence of Man CIty's spending after saying that y "deserve" an apology for t doing anything wrong. Jose Mourinho, on or hand, launched a scathing attack on pep Guardiola' side calling judgement "disgraceful" and a "disaster" and argued that if Man City were incent y shouldn't have been fined.
