Pep Guardiola joined Manchester City in February 2016 amidst much fanfare and with great expectations. The former Barcelona coach was tipped to be the final piece of the puzzle in Manchester City's bid to lay their hands of the UEFA Champions League trophy. Three years later, City have not yet reached their ultimate goal but Guardiola's Manchester City are clearly one of the favourites this year once again. Will they go all the way this season or will they fail for the fourth year in a row?

Pep Guardiola reveals joy over taking up Manchester City challenge

Pep Guardiola has been a true leader in the Manchester City dugout ever since his appointment, having transformed the Blues squad into a formidable team. In a recent interview with a leading British media daily, the former Bayern Munich coach revealed that the decision to come to City has brought him great happiness. Pep Guardiola further went on to add that the Manchester United team which came up against his Barcelona side in final of the 2011 UEFA Champions League was 'unbelievable'. Guardiola is known to be a huge admirer of former United manager Sir Alex Ferguson.
