Manchester United's last night 1-1 draw against Arsenal condemned their worst start to a Premier League season. Manchester United have been struggling in the league after their thumping 4-0 win over Chelsea on the opening day. Since then, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's team has only registered two wins in six matches including last year's draw. The Red Devils are in the 10th position with just nine points so far in the Premier League this season.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's view

To be precise, United have only earned nine points from their first seven games. This is the club's lowest at a top-flight since the 1989-90 edition. United's boss had a golden opportunity to turn things around with a win against their old rivals Arsenal at Old Trafford but somehow failed to convert the chances. Scott McTominay's 22-yard screamer was cancelled out Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's slick finish as the match ended in a 1-1 draw.

Solskjaer, however, did not seem to be bothered by the negative results. Instead, the Norweigan is focusing more on the positives from the match. After the post-match interview, it seemed like Solskjaer hasn't lost his focus yet as he is still optimistic about the season and still trusts his squad. The United legend also showed support towards his team and criticised the media by claiming that they are unnecessarily pushing the situation. Solskjaer further added that there are many things that give him loads of confidence and it's the results that matter rather than performance.
