Carragher explains why Barca & ors are pushing for Super League
While speaking in an interview with Sky Sports after a new plan for European Super League (ESL) was proposed, Jamie Carragher said, "It basically falls down to fact that Premier League is Super League. And that's what Barcelona, Real Mrid, Milans, Juventus, can't get ir hes around."

former Liverpool defender explained his point by ding, "y can't fathom why some of biggest clubs in European football are earning same as a mid-table club in Premier League. You look at transfer fees. You look at January transfer window compared to or countries and Premier League - and it's night and day. y want a slice of it."
45-year-old concluded his remarks by stating that without Premier League giants joining big clubs of La Liga and Serie A, re will be ESL. " only problem is, I think re was so much dam done to our clubs by [attempting] to leave to join Super League that y've been burnt bly and I think it'll be a long time before our clubs are getting involved in anything like this. And without English clubs right w, for me, re is Super League," explained Carragher.
