Premier League Matchday 11: Manchester City 2-1 Southampton
Manchester City were far from ir fluid best against Southampton but late goals from Sergio Aguero and Kyle Walker ensured y remain in touching distance of table-toppers Liverpool. James Ward-Prowse gave a shock le to visitors in first half after an error by Manchester City goalkeeper Ederson, but City's continued onslaught pinned back Southampton to such an extent that a goal looked inevitable.

Premier League Matchday 11: Aston Villa 1-2 Liverpool
Liverpool's stunning start to season continued with a last-gasp win over Aston Villa. An early goal by Trezeguet looked to have sealed a famous victory for Aston Villa but goals from Andy Robertson in 87th minute and Sio Mane in 95th minute meant Liverpool were left smiling in end.
