The 2019-20 season of the English Premier League is seeing the likes of Liverpool and Manchester City battling it out once again to become champions. However, the one team that has failed to live up to the rising expectations of their supporters is Premier League giants - Manchester United. After 11 games this season, Manchester United find themselves at the 10th spot on the EPL table. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Co. have won three, drawn four and lost four of their 11 games in the Premier League.

Premier League: Owen-Schmeichel embroiled in a heated debate over United's future

Former Red Devils players Michael Owen and Peter Schmeichel were involved in a heated debate on Live TV over the future of Manchester United coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. Owen claimed that while United's squad boasted loads of talent on paper, coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has failed to get the best out of his players this season. He argued that the likes of Pep Guardiola and Jurgen Klopp have done better and utilising their squad's talent to the maximum.

Manchester United legend Peter Schmeichel disagreed with his former teammate. He argued that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer needs more time to shape this young United squad. Schmeichel pointed out that Guardiola and Klopp were both given a considerable amount of time to transform their respective teams. At the end the question still remains, is Ole Gunnar Solskjaer the right man to steady the sinking ship at Old Trafford?
