Speaking of what was discussed previously between Argentine international and club, Al-Khelaifi ded, "So what we agreed toger - that after World Cup, sit down toger. But both sides - our side of club and his - are very happy, so we will talk after World Cup." PSG president's remarks come amid several reports linking 35-year-old with a move to MLS.
And it is t just Messi who PSG have been in touch with as Al-Khelaifi has confirmed that club has also been in talks with five-time Ballon d'Or winner Cristia Ronaldo. However, he believes that a potential move to Parc des Princes for 37-year-old is 'impossible.'

"He is a legend, he's a star. footballer, I mire and love him as a player and professional. A fantastic player. 37 w - he is doing amazing. But every single club wants to sign him too. problem today for us is we have position [filled] - his position - so it is t easy to replace position that we have with him. It would be impossible, honestly, for us."
PSG is t short on firepower as y have likes of Messi, Neymar, and Kylian Mbappe in club, which would make it extremely difficult for m to start Ronaldo even if y were to successfully sign Portuguese international. 37-year-old is currently a free nt after his contract was terminated by Manchester United.
