Raphinha Ignored For Brazil Squad As First International Break Of The Season Approaches
The Brazil squad was announced for the International break and fans noticed several big names missing from the squad including Barcelona winger Raphinha.
As the first International break of the new footballing season approaches, all the players will be going back to their national camps. This includes Brazil, who have two matches lined up for them. They face Ecuador and Paraguay on September 6th and 10th respectively.

For this very reason, the Brazil national squad was announced by their manager Dorival Jr. What came as a surprise to many fans and spectators alike was the fact that Raphinha's name was missing from the squad. The Barcelona winger is a regular starter for Brazil but has not been selected for the squad this time around.
Raphinha In The Copa America
Raphinha last donned the yellow jersey of Brazil during the Copa America. During the tournament, the winger put up a decent performance which he even contributed with a goal. Several new comers such as Real Madrid's young signing Endrick have been picked for Dorival Jr's squad.
This news comes on the same day that Raphinha was announced as one of the captains of Barcelona for the 2024-2025 season.
Young Blood To Don The Selecao Jersey
With the names of several big players missing from the Brazil squad, the newly announced squad by Dorival Jr. also features some young faces who will be wearing the Brazil jersey. These young players include wonderkid Endrick and Estevao Willian. Another shock was that Neymar Jr.'s name was missing from the squad as the Brazillian superstar has almost fully recovered from a knee injury from last year.
