Watch Rashford score an insane Ronaldo-esque free-kick against Chelsea

Marcus Rashford scored a stunning free-kick against Chelsea in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday night. As impressive as the goal was by itself it's not difficult to draw parallels with another wonderful free-kick scored by none other than Cristiano Ronaldo during his time at Manchester United. Apparently, we're aren't the only ones to draw comparisons as United defender Victor Lindelof seems to be doing the same. Let's analyse both the goals
Marcus Rashford's goal:
Wednesday night, Carabao Cup match between United and Chelsea and the game is tied at 1-1 when Chelsea attacker Pedro surrenders a free-kick 30-yards out. Steps in Marcus Rashford, who takes the position and whips the ball well over the wall with enough dip on it to make it fly into the top left corner of the net. Goalkeeper Willy Caballero was nowhere near it. United 2-0 Chelsea and through to the quarter-finals of the Carabao Cup. If the free-kick itself doesn't feel familiar, watch his stance and his run-up leading to the free-kick and you'll instantly be reminded of Ronaldo's strike back in 2008 against Portsmouth.
Ronaldo's outrageous free-kick against Portsmouth
Ronaldo's free-kick goal was also his second of the game just like Rashford's. And just like Rashford, he stepped in from 30-yards out in a typical Ronaldo fashion. He wonderfully struck the ball and sent it crashing into the top-right corner past a helpless David James. United 2-0 Portsmouth. Game-set-match.
Even United manager Ole Gunnar Solksjaer felt Rashford's goal was very similar to Ronaldo's goal where both of them made the ball swerve and dip so perfectly. Arguably his best strike, fans reacted to the goal very keenly and hope this might just be the goal that transforms Rashford into the player he was always destined to be.
