Real Madrid Icon Toni Kroos Reacts to Jude Bellingham's Statements Over the Retired Footballer
Real Madrid legend Toni Kroos responds to comments from former teammate Jude Bellingham after the Madrid midfielder made a huge statement about the German star.

Real Madrid's performance this season seems to have dropped since Toni Kroos retired. His absence has clearly caused some difficulties for the squad, especially in the midfield and attack. Their recent performances clearly show the changes required after his departure, therefore reflecting the loss of such a powerful player. However, it is anticipated that star Englishman Jude Bellingham will take the throne and attempt to eye glory to Real Madrid, mirroring the legacy of the German ace.
Toni Kroos reacts to Jude Bellingham’s affection for the Real Madrid legend
Following young midfielder Jude Bellingham's comments during an interview, Toni Kroos showed his gratitude for his former Real Madrid teammate. Kroos went to Twitter to characterise Bellingham as “one of a kind.”
Although their time together was cut short when Kroos chose to retire from professional football after Germany's involvement in Euro 2024, the two players were colleagues at Real Madrid last season.
Bellingham started his remarkable season at the Santiago Bernabéu after joining Los Blancos in the summer of 2023. He was instrumental in ensuring the squad won the UEFA Champions League as well as the La Liga championship.
Jude Bellingham was seen in a video lauding the former midfield player on X after Kroos' announcement of his retirement. Bellingham said he admired Kroos saying:
"The impact he had on me was huge. He’s always willing to give you the ball so you feel involved, He’s intelligent, unique, smartest player I’ve played with. Grateful to have spent time with him on and off the pitch."
Toni Kroos, reciprocating the admiration, wrote:
‘’He’s my man. One of a kind’’
Well, Toni Kroos intends to focus on his youth academy in Madrid and wants to build more stars like himself. Jude Bellingham,m on the other hand, will now be seen in action for Real Madrid against Villareal on Sunday, October 6, 2024.
