Real Madrid's Marcelo takes knee after goal vs Eibar, shows 'Black Lives Matter' support
Real Madrid vice-captain Marcelo took a knee in support of Black Lives Matter campaign after he scored the third goal for Los Blancos against Eibar on Sunday.

Spanish giants Real Mrid marked off an impeccable LaLiga restart on Sunday, humiliating Eibar 3-1 at Alfredo di Stefa. game saw pair of Sergio Ramos and Marcelo score for Zinedine Zidane, apart from opener from Toni Kroos. However, game saw impact of Black Lives Matter campaign when Real Mrid vice-captain Marcelo took a knee against killing of George Floyd after scoring against Eibar.

Real Mrid marked off a magnificent LaLiga restart when Toni Kroos struck first goal of game in 4th minute. Striker Karim Benzema produced a moment of brilliance as he dribbled past two Eibar players in penalty area before passing it back to German international who stood unmarked at edge. Marcelo scored third goal for Real Mrid in 37th minute when Eden Hazard raced in Eibar defence, attempting to score, but Dmitrovic produced a magnificent save but couldn't hold on to ball. second half saw Zidane make several changes in lineup, courtesy of five-substitution rule. Taking vant of Real Mrid's sloppiness in latter half, Eibar scored ir first and only goal, when Pedro Bigas struck a shot at Thibaut Courtois, whose mistake led to goal.

Real Mrid to play Valencia on Thursday
Real Mrid's win against Eibar takes ir tally to 59 points in LaLiga. On or hand, Barcelona le chart with 61 points, after ir stunning victory against Mallorca on Saturday. Los Blancos will next play Valencia on Thursday (Friday according to IST) at Alfredo di Stefa.
