Real Madrid forward Rodrygo Goes has had a wonderful start to life at Real Madrid, but the 18-year-old does not want the pressure of replacing Cristiano Ronaldo just yet.

Rodrygo Goes scored a hat-trick against Galatasaray in the Champions League last week, taking his tally up to five for the season in just six appearances. Following his fast start with the Los Blancos, Rodrygo got his first call up by Brazil coach Tite and likely to make his against Argentina or South Korea in November.

During Brazil's pre-match conference Rodrygo revealed he quite delighted yet surprised with the start to his Real Madrid career. Although the Brazilian expressed his admiration for Real Madrid great Cristiano Ronaldo, he insisted that he doesn't want to carry the pressure of replacing Ronaldo. He further admitted that he is not ready to assume the goalscoring responsibility at Real Madrid.
Rodrygo also gave his thoughts on Raul Gonzalez, who has coached him at Real Madrid Castilla stating he has learned a lot from the legend and that he has helped the Brazilian settle in at Madrid well.
The talented teenager claimed that he is already looking to remain at the Santiago Bernabeu “for good” after bursting onto the scene in Spain and enjoy his football without any pressure.

Rodrygo Goes scored just one minute into his debut for Los Blancos against Osasuna before going on to make his second appearance against Real Mallorca. Manager Zinedine Zidane handed him his first start for the club in their crucial Champions League clash away at Galatasaray and Rodrygo repaid his coach's faith with a mature display. He later opened the scoring in the 5-0 win over Leganes before scoring a brilliant hat-trick against Galatasaray on November 7.
It is not difficult to see why Madrid fans have identified as the one to lead their side in the post-Ronaldo era with the 18-year-old touted to have a bright future at Madrid.
