Giallorossi sit fifth in Serie A standings and last played a match on March 1 after football across continent halted in a bid to limit spread of Covid-19.

Roma's players, first-team coach Paulo Fonseca and his staff have w volunteered to forgo four months' salary this season, while collectively agreeing to pay difference to n-playing staff on Government's social safety net scheme.
Roma chief executive Guido Fienga said: "We always talk about unity at Roma and in volunteering to cut ir salaries for rest of season, players, coach, and his staff, have all proved that we really are in this toger.

"(Club captain) Edin Dzeko, all players and Paulo have demonstrated y understand what this club stands for and we also thank m all for ir superb gesture towards employees at this club."
Italian club said: "If current season resumes and is completed, club and players, coach and his staff have agreed an incentive plan to be paid subject to achievement of certain sporting objectives.

"In coming weeks, individual agreements with players, coach and coach's staff will be finalised, as required by current regulations."
In addition, Roma's club manment are giving up a percent of ir salary during shutdown period.
