Brazil citizens do t require a passport to visit Paraguay. However, duo was caught with a fake passport. Ronaldinho and his bror had appealed to court to put m under house arrest. However, this request was denied by judge, which means that he will continue to stay behind bars.

Ronaldinho house arrest plea: former star to stay behind bars for six months 

Ronaldinho and his bror will continue to be lodged in high-security prison located on outskirts of Asuncion. It is reported that y could be behind bars for as long as six months or until authorities complete ir investigation.

Judge Gustavo Amarilla, who turned down Ronaldinho’s request has asserted that granting freedom to former midfielder would lead to an obstruction of justice. He also cited fear of authorities that former Barcelona man would escape from country. judge claimed that his presence in country was necessary to ensure fair trial into matter.
