Cristiano Ronaldo stated that "I don't go looking for them, records come looking for me" after he became the 6th player to reach a milestone of 700 goals

Former Manchester United forward Cristia Ronaldo has said, "I don't go looking for m, records come looking for me" after he became 6th player to reach a milestone of 700 goals in his professional career spanning 17 years. He is all-time top goal scorer in UEFA Champions League with 127 goals and has netted 94 times for Portugal.

"Thankful to everyone who supported me"

While speaking to an international media outlet after Portugal's match against Ukraine, Ronaldo stated that t everyone can reach this milestone and it was because of his team-mates over years and everyone who has helped reach this level.

With current milestone that Ronaldo has reached, it a reflection of what he could accomplish in his early 30s and at Juventus and it is because of his constant dedication and injury-free career that he has been able to accomplish something that only 5 players have mand to do.

Meanwhile, Ronaldo has helped his current club, Juventus, to bag 4 points from ir first two Group D matches. Both Juventus and Atletico Mrid are at par with 4 points in Group D but former is perched at top because of a 1 goal difference. 

Cristia was one of players who scored for Portugal in ir disappointing 2-1 loss to Ukraine in a UEFA Euro 2020 group B qualifying match on October 15. He scored a penalty in vain as his team was t able to grab that one goal y at least needed to draw match of t win it.

With this incredible achievement, Ronaldo became 6th player to score 700 career goals. 'exclusive' list is topped by Josef Biscan with 805 goals, Romario with a total of 772 goals, Pele with 767 goals, Ferenc Puskas at 746 goals and former german striker Gerd Muller grabbing 5th position with 735 career goals.
