Ronaldo, Lewandowski score 91 goals combined in 2020, same as Messi alone in 2012

Messi has had a struggling calendar year, as controversies grip six-time Ballon d'Or winner. Messi has mand to score 28 goals only, racking up number in 48 appearances in ongoing calendar year. se numbers suggest a steep decline in his goalscoring form, as compared to his arch-rival Ronaldo.

Messi hit peak of his career that year, as he struck 79 goals for Barcelona, while also netting 12 times for Argentina national team.
