Ruud van Nistelrooy Sends A Heartwarming Parting Message For The Supporters After Man United Exit

A new era of Manchester United is all set to commence soon as the football club is all set to receive a new manager. After Erik ten Hag's exit, Ruud Van Nistelrooy took over the spot on an interim basis and won the fans' hearts in an instant. After it was made official that he would be exiting as Ruben Amorim intends to bring his coaching staff, the Dutch manager penned down a heartfelt note for the club and its fans.

Ruud Van Nistelrooy Wins Hearts With Emotional Parting Message For Manchester United Fans 

As Ruud Van Nistelrooy exited Manchester United, he presented a heartwarming statement for the fans over the social media platform Instagram. Van Nistelrooy thanked the fans and said that the football club would always have a special place for him after representing the team as a player, a coach and a manager. Van Nistelrooy added that he hopes to see the club return to its old days of glory.

“To everyone at Manchester United Football Club, in particular the backroom staff, the players and the fans. I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for your incredible efforts and support. It has been a privilege and honour to represent the club as a player, coach and manager, and I will always cherish the memories we have shared together. @ManUtd will always have a special place in my heart, and I hope there are many more glory days at Old Trafford very soon - not only because I want the club to do well, but because you all deserve it! All the best and take care, Ruud," the statement from Ruud van Nistelrooy said.

Ruud Van Nistelrooy came in as the club's assistant coach, and he was made the interim manager after Erik ten Hag's exit. He went on to have an undefeated run with the side as United won all the matches, while one ended in a draw under his run. He last led Man United against Leicester City, which the Red Devils won by 3-0.

Sporting Lisbon manager Ruben Amorim will officially take over the charge after the International break when Manchester United faces off against Ipswich Town on November 24, 2024.
