After a nail-biting victory over Leicester City in the Premier League on October 5, Liverpool's winger Sadio Mane said his club's clash against Leicester City was 'really, really tough', despite winning, the club's official website quoted. He also said he was emotional and moved after the referee blew the final whistle.
'You never give up on football', says Mane
Liverpool F.C. faced Leicester City in an extremely close encounter with the Reds scoring in injury time. Mane was quoted saying it was a really tough game but they expected it would be so.

He said, "On Wednesday, we played the UEFA Champions League against Salzburg and then go ahead with an intense game against Leicester. However, this is the Premier League and we have to expect such things. The most important thing for us is winning those three points. Leicester is a very good game and scored the equaliser, which is why you never give up in football", Mane added.
In the 40th minute of the match, Liverpool claimed the first goal with Sadio Mane breaching the Leicester defence. However, Mane's goal was cancelled out by James Maddison's strike in the 80th minute. As the match moved closer to end, Mane was fouled which earned the Reds a penalty in the 95th minute of the game. James Milner netted the penalty past Schmeichel on the bottom right corner to seal the victory for Liverpool.
