#PELEGACY is a social responsibility movement to hour football legend Pele on his 80th birthday. campaign is inspired by jersey exchange that took place between Pele and Bobby Moore after England's defeat to Brazil in 1970 World Cup. Becoming first from India, Arjuna Award winner Sandesh Jhingan has become latest athlete to participate in #PelegacyJerseyExchange movement, a massive exchange of shirts around world, me in collaboration with Pelé Foundation.

movement is to raise funds for fight against COVID-19 in Brazil, by collecting jerseys from athletes from all over globe and auctioning m at end of year. Indian defender uploed a video on his Instagram handle thanking Pelé for opportunity, as he wrote “It’s an hour for me to take part in this amazing initiative and to be first to represent India to hour one of greatest of all times Pelé Sir for his 80th birthday. I encour everyone to join Pelegacy in fight against COVID-19.”
