After Wolfsburg's 1-6 loss against RB Leipzig, Juventus remain the only unbeaten team in Europe’s top five leagues after Cristiano Ronaldo rescued all three points versus Genoa on Wednesday night with a 96th-minute penalty.
Serie A: Juventus' run so far
The Serie A has been a one-horse race for quite some time which is pretty evident from Juventus' eighth consecutive Scudetto last season. They've had some defiant challenges over the years notably from Napoli in 2017-18, but the Old Lady's financial prowess meant they stood tall every time.

This season though, it has been a different year. A new manager with a different philosophy joined the club in the form of Maurizio Sarri. And playing under Sarri is no easy task. Back in September, after leading by 3-0 in the 62nd minute they were pegged back to 3-3 by the 81st until lady luck smiled at the Old Lady and an own goal by Kalidou Koulibaly in the 92nd minute meant Juventus would be the team smiling at full-time. But as the games progressed Juventus played like a well-oiled machine under Sarri and the results showed. Probably their biggest test this season was Inter Milan that could potentially shape up the Serie A title race.
Juventus played their best football in the season to topple Antonio Conte's men in Milan. Genoa proved another test on Wednesday night where Cristiano Ronaldo starred for Juventus. The Portugal international had the ball in the net in the 93rd minute, only for the goal to be ruled out by VAR for offside. Yet he still managed to rescue all three points for the Bianconeri as he converted the last-gasp spot-kick after he was tripped in the area.

This weekend sees Maurizio Sarri’s side face Torino in the Derby Della Mole, as they look to retain their spot at the top of Serie A, where they lead rivals Inter by just one point.
Juventus: Champions League
The Champions League group stages have been particularly an easy run for Juventus who are one of the heavyweights in their group along with Atletico Madrid. After avoiding a defeat at the Vincente Calderon, they comfortably defeated Bayer Leverkusen and Lokomotiv Moscow.

Although it's pretty early and Juventus will have much tougher challenges as the season progresses, it has undeniably been an impressive showing by Maurizio Sarri's men.
