Cristiano Ronaldo will miss the Al-Nassr vs Al-Shorta owing to viral infection  

Al-Nassr formally said that a viral virus would cause Cristiano Ronaldo to miss the next game against Al-Shorta, therefore severely undermining situation for the squad. According to the club's statement, Ronaldo, the Al-Nassr captain, not felt well and was subsequently diagnosed with the illness. Ronaldo decided not to go with the squad to Iraq for the game after the team doctor advised rest and isolation. The team conveyed their hopes for a quick recovery of their leader during this trying period. Al-Nassr on X: 

“AlNassr Captain Cristiano Ronaldo wasn't feeling well today and was diagnosed with a viral infection. Team's doctor confirmed he needs to rest and stay at his place. As a result he will not be travelling with the team to Iraq today.

We wish a speed recovery to our captain.” 

Cristiano Ronaldo has been in fine form this season, he recently scored his 900th career goal during the international break against Croatia and then went on to score the match-winner against Scotland.

With a tally of 902 career goals already, the Portuguese GOAT eyes to score 1000 before retiring. Which everybody anticipates will happen, given his hard work and dedication at the age where he is about to be 40 in a few months.
