Indian football star Subhasish Bose leaves Mumbai City after playing two seasons with The Islanders in the ISL ahead of his move to ATK Mohun Bagan.

Mumbai City FC were dealt with a significant blow ahe of ir Indian Super League (ISL) campaign after Subhasish Bose left club. Subhasish Bose leaves ISL side Mumbai City FC 

On Monday, Mumbai City FC anunced that Subhasish Bose has left club after two seasons with franchise. Bose played 34 games for Mumbai City FC in which he scored a lone goal, which came during ir away win against Bengaluru FC. left-back also h two assists to his name.

In its official statement, club thanked left-back for his contribution, wishing him very best for his future. Indian football star me 12 appearances for club last season, recording a total of 595 passes, most by any Mumbai City FC player. He was an instrumental player for m during his debut season, helping Islanders qualify for playoffs which earned him a spot in Indian national team. Mumbai City FC will w be in hunt for a replacement at left-back.

ISL news: Subhasish Bose to play for ATK Mohun Bagan 

Subhasish Bose, along with fellow Indian teammate Manvir Singh signed for ATK Mohun Bagan in March. transfer will be a sort of homecoming for Bose, who has played for Mohun Bagan in past before ir merger with ISL outfit ATK. According to reports, Kolkata franchise offered left-back a 'bumper deal', making him one of highest earners among Indian players.

Subhasish has me 12 international appearances for India's national team, debuting against Chinese Taipei in 2018 Intercontinental Cup. He also played all three matches in 2019 AFC Asian Cup group st before being dropped from side in favour of Mandar Rao Dessai and Ashique Kuruniyan. Sanjiv Goenka's side are kwn to be heavy spenders in transfer market. While it didn't bear any fruit in previous two seasons, this time y clinched ISL trophy with panache under tutel of Antonio Lopez Habas.
