MLS-side Montreal Impact introduced Thierry Henry as their new manager on Monday. The legendary striker replaced Wilmer Cabrera and will take charge in Montreal from mid-January when the training camp will begin. Montreal Impact failed to make it to the MLS Cup Playoffs for the third consecutive season which led to the change in managers. Henry hung up his boots in 2014 and started his managing career at the Arsenal youth academy. The 42-year-old was then appointed as an assistant in the Belgium national team before joining his former club AS Monaco in 2018. However, the French striker was sacked only three months after Monaco lost 11 of their 20 games.
