Thierry Henry says Impact, missing Wanyama, obvious underdogs against Revs
The odds certainly appear stacked against the Montreal Impact when it meets the New England Revolution in an Eastern Conference play-in round game at Gillette Stadium. It marks Montreal's first appearance in the MLS playoffs since 2016 and with a victory the Impact would advance to a quarterfinal matchup against either Philadelphia or Toronto FC.

Impact will yet again be lacking key personnel and will be challenged at midfield Friday night. Samuel Piette will serve a one-game suspension following his ejection from a 3-2 win over D.C. United in final regular-season game. Victor Wanyama was representing Kenya in international competition and was unable to return in time for Friday's game, according to Henry.
