Thierry Henry tears into Mbappe over latest PSG comments: 'I hated it! But I had to do it'

Thierry Henry has torn into Kylian Mbappe stating that club is bigger than the player while citing his own experience from his time at Barcelona.

Kylian Mbappe was subject of transfer from PSG to Real Mrid during summer transfer. French forward signed a contract extension with his current club Paris Saint Germain (PSG) for two years ruling out transfer possibility to Spanish capital. However, in latest report, various media houses have reported that Mbappe is frustrated at PSG and wants to leave club in January.

Kylian Mbappe joined PSG from Monaco in 2017 while he was still a teenr. He has often said that playing for Mrid was his childhood dream and never ruled out transfer possibility. Former Arsenal and French football legend Thierry Henry has torn into Kylian Mbappe stating that club is bigger than player while citing his own experience from his time at Barcelona.

Speaking to CBS, he said, "But re's something that's bigger than everyone else: club. But did y (PSG) make him feel that club was most important thing? Or did y make him feel like he was more important than club? I think at one point for me, I didn't like to play high and wide at Barca - I hated it! But I h to do it for team.

He went onto d, “I didn’t like it after a hundred caps and I don’t kw how many goals I scored for France, I h to play on left. I didn’t hear anyone say, ‘Oh, what a nice gesture!’ to go on left inste of players who h less goals and less caps. re is only one rule: if boss asks you to do something, you do it, IF it’s good for team! If it’s b for team, I would get argument.”
