Algerian winger Riyad Mahrez has joined Saudi Pro League club Al-Ahli from Manchester City in a reported £30 million deal on Thursday.

Riyad Mahrez has sealed a move to Saudi Pro League outfit Al-Ahli from Manchester City, club has confirmed. reigning European champions will reportedly receive to tune of £30 million for 32 year old. Algerian winger played a pivotal part as City claimed a continental treble last season for first time in history of club. Mahrez has penned a three year deal with Saudi-based outfit.

former Leicester City winger will join likes of former Premier League players Roberto Firmi and Edouard Mendy who also recently switched ir allegiance from Liverpool and Chelsea respectively. Manchester City issued a statement to confirm player's departure from club after a gap of five years.

Algerian winger spent five years with Club after signing in 2018 from Leicester City.

Mahrez’s spell at Etihad saw him make 236 appearances and score 78 goals – assisting 59 more for his team-mates – as he became an integral member of Pep Guardiola’s squad.

He won an astonishing 11 major trophies with City and leaves Club as a Treble winner in what was his final campaign.
