Tolisso scores spectacular goal as Bayern Munich thrash Atletico Madrid; watch video
Bayern Munich star Corentin Tolisso scored a stunner against Atletico Madrid to help his side smash the RojiBlancos in the Champions League.

European champions Bayern Munich began ir title defence against Atletico Madrid with a sensational win at Allianz Arena. Bavarians struck four times, while Manuel Neuer ensured he conceded goals at all against Diego Simeone's men. Although Kingsley Coman struck twice, Corentin Tolisso's sensational strike stood out in game, leaving fans in awe of French talent.

Champions League results suggestive of Bayern dominance

Although Joao Felix struck one goal back for Atletico Madrid, it was disallowed by Video Assistant Referee (VAR). But Bayern had to respond and y did in a sensational way. Tolisso blasted ball from outside box, directing it into top right corner, with Oblak's effort to save it turning sour. stunner takes Tolisso goals tally to two this season.

Although Bayern were leading by three goals already, Allianz Arena outfit did t lose ir grip in game. Coman went on to bag his second goal of night, scoring a sensational solo goal, beating Felipe Augusto on way. Simeone's men could t survive Bavarian wave, despite presence of Luis Suarez in ranks.

Bayern's performance against arguably toughest side in ir Champions League group is suggestive of fact that Hansi Flick's men will t let ir guard loose easily this time around. Clearly, Germany heavyweights are keen on retaining title, with hope of becoming only second team to do so, apart from Real Madrid.
