Spurs made four changes to ir side that drew against Watford on Saturday. Ben Davies, Heung-Min Son, and Erik Lamela all starting in what looked like a strong line-up for home side. New signing Giovani Lo Celso was named on bench after recovering from injury along with Christian Eriksen. visitors also made four changes to ir side that beat Rad Beograd last time out. Jose Canas and Rajiv Van La Parra starting to spice up attack.

Red Star fell behind early in London when Harry Kane scored from a corner in 9th minute, much to joy of home fans. Minutes later Spurs were leading by two goals thanks to Son's well-taken finish from Lamela's cross. Spurs looking like a team oozing with confidence could have easily ended tie in first half itself with Lamela, Ndombele going close. home side did score ir third when Son netted his second after being fed by Tanguy Ndombele. midfielder did very well to win ball in middle and find Son for an easy goal. first half ended at 3-0.

second half was more of same picture as Tottenham continued ir onslaught. Lamela scored ir fourth in 57th minute after going close minutes earlier. Harry Kane made it 5-0 after being on end of yet ar flowing move by home side. Red Star failed to test Gazzaniga in entire game giving a well-deserved clean sheet to Spurs.

Red Star failed to match Spurs' intensity for much of game as scoreline rightly suggests. Pochetti couldn't have asked for more from his side who blew visitors away. A good attacking display that showed fluidity and rhythm along with solidity at back, reminiscent of old Spurs, might just shape up ir season.
