Arsenal fans were hoping for a new beginning when the club replaced their legendary manager Arsène Wenger with Unai Emery. The Spain-based manager led the star-studded side of Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) and was asked to replace Wenger in London. However, the situation at Emirates has not changed much since the change in managers. Emery finished in the fifth spot in his first season at Arsenal and lost the Europa 2018-19 finals against Chelsea. The team made some big additions to their squad in the form of Nicolas Pépé, Dani Ceballos and David Luiz. However, even that has not helped them in the season so far. Arsenal are placed sixth in the Premier League 2019-20 table with just four wins in 12 games (D5 L3).

Emery has a month to fix it or #EMERYOUT
According to reports, fans and the Arsenal board are losing their patience with Emery. He has been handed a deadline to up his game. According to Mirror, Unai Emery has been allocated a month to prove his worth if he wishes to keep his job at London. Gunners have failed to win a single game in Premier League since mid-October and their Champions League comeback still looks like a long dream. With teams like Sheffield United and Leicester City F.C. making a solid start to their season, it has become more difficult for Premier League giants Manchester United and Arsenal to get in the top four.

Apart from their performance, Arsenal are known for their attacking style of football which is slowly disappearing under Emery. Arsenal's highest-paid athlete - Mesut Ozil - has made very few appearances for the Gunners this season. Reports say that Emery and Ozil share a very cold relation with each other which is not a great sign for a club. To add to all their misery, Granit Xhaka was axed from captaincy duties due to his recent brawl with the fans and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was handed the captain's arm-band. Arsenal will next face Southampton on November 23, 2019.
