Jamaican star athlete and 100m world record holder Usain Bolt has waxed lyrical about how big a Cristiano Ronaldo fan he is in an interview he gave to FIFA.com. The athlete was asked about who between Lionel Messi and Ronaldo have had the best football career, to which Bolt replied, “Both! Many people are asking this question, but they are two geniuses of football.” The 'fastest man on Earth' said he admires the way the Portugal player has been successful in different leagues. “I have always been a big fan of Ronaldo. I admire his ability to succeed in different championships: England, Spain and now Italy,” he said.
Usain Bolt excited for young Football players
When asked about who he sees in the race to be the best player in the world as both Messi and Ronaldo are in their 30s, Bolt said there are a lot of exciting young players and named several of them including Kylian Mbappe and Neymar. "There are a lot of exciting young players - Mbappe, Neymar Jr., Jadon Sancho. It will be interesting to see how the former Ajax players Matthijs de Ligt and Frenkie de Jong do at their new clubs, as well as Eden Hazard at Real. I am friends with Raheem Sterling, Paul Pogba and Leon Bailey and hope they can keep playing well,"

Usain Bolt and Football
The star athlete who still holds the record for the 100,200 and 4 × 100 metres relay and is nicknamed "Lightning Bolt" retired from athletics after the World Championships in London in 2017. In August 2018, Bolt expressed his desire to play football and began training with Australian A-League club the Central Coast Mariners as a left-winger. In October the player scored twice for the team in a friendly match in 2018. He left the club the following month. In January 2019 he announced that he would not be pursuing a career in football.
