'The Truth Is...': Vinicius Jr Gives Honest Take On Kylian Mbappe After Tough La Liga Start

Kylian Mbappe's La Liga career with Real Madrid hasn't got off to a flying start after failing to score in the first two games against Mallorca and Real Vallodolid. It's not just about scoring, Kylian Mbappe has found it difficult to impact games and adapt to his new role at Real Madrid. 

Real Madrid superstar and Kylian Mbappe's new teammate Vinicius Jr has recently opened up on what it's like having the Frenchman and gave his honest review on how he's fared until now. 

Vinicius Jr's honest feedback on Kylian Mbappe 

Both Vinicius Jr and Kylian Mbappe were lack luster as Real Madrid beat Real Valladolid 3-0 over the weekend for their first La Liga game of the season. Despite a slow start, Vinicius Jr has expressed great optimisim on his partnership with Kylian Mbappe. 

Vini Jr assured that despite a slow start he was certain that Kylian Mbappe would end up being an exceptional player for Real Madrid. 

“God willing, Mbappé will be able to score as many goals for us as he did in his previous team and in the national team, and that he can do even more together with us,” said Vincius Jr about Kylian Mbappe in his recent chat to CNN.  

Vinicius Jr further revealed that he was super excited about the future and the possibility to play with Kylian Mbappe and what they can achieve together. 

“I love Mbappé’s style, I love how he plays, and the truth is that I’m very excited about what we can do. He’s coming in after having scored so many goals, after winning so many titles. He’s arriving at the club he always dreamed to be in and where every player always dreamed to play for: Real Madrid,” said Vinicius Jr to CNN.

Vinicius Jr aims at Ballon d'Or 

Vincius Jr is the favourite to win the Ballon d'Or in 2024 after leading Real Madrid to the Champions League and La Liga title last season.

Vinicius Jr revealed that winning the Ballon d'Or is certainly a target and he wants to win even more targets with Real Madrid.
