WA's compliance review committee has proposed that rule as part of a pack of sanctions for Russia over alleged tampering with doping records. WA's executive board will vote on recommendation Dec. 9.

WA spokesman James Fitzgerald tells Associated Press by email that "as regards UEFA, Euros is t a multi-sport major event or a world championship but rar a regional/continental single-sport event. So it is t affected by this recommendation."
