After their first home win of the season, Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer said that his team need 'to be more clinical' and not 'over complicate things' ahead of their UEFA Champions League match against Istanbul Basaksehir on Tuesday.

Having only picked up one point from their opening four matches at Old Trafford, the video assistant referee's intervention played a key role in Saturday's hard-fought 1-0 win against West Bromwich Albion.

Referee David Coote awarded West Brom a penalty early in the second half but overturned the decision after checking VAR.

West Brom's Sam Johnstone then saved a Bruno Fernandes spot-kick only for VAR to intervene and order a retake after the goalkeeper strayed off his line.
