How could Manchester United’s attack look next season?
Manchester United can have a great attack in the upcoming season, with mainly three attackers as favourites to start in the Premier League. Marcus Rashford will join Hojlund on the left and Jadon Sancho on the right. The United team has lacked a solid striker since Cristiano Ronaldo left the club in November last year. Anthony Martial is likely to leave because of his regular injury concerns. If Mason Greenwood is given the green light to play for the Red Devils, another star striker could be added to the squad.
The Argentine sensation Alejandro Garnacho will be there to assist the squad after he was one of the players to carry United after CR7 left last season. However, it seems like Erik ten Hag might take a little more time to trust the talented forward. On the other hand, Antony could play on the wing and use his pace to break the wings. The new captain, Bruno Fernandes, will be holding the midfield and serving crucial passes for Hojlund. Mason Mount could also be used in the midfield to create chances for the forwards, the Dutch coach has now plenty of stars in the squad and can put them accordingly after looking at their form in the first few weeks of the league and use the selected star-studded squad in the UEFA Champions League.

Hojlund's Pace and Dynamism: Hojlund's pace and dynamism are two of the most important qualities he offers to Manchester United's assault. His past games for Atlanta show how his quickness provides unpredictability and makes defenders work harder. Drawing on his great performances at Atlanta, where he excelled in receiving the ball in wide areas, Hojlund's speed will surely provide United with an advantage in bursting through defensive lines and beginning rapid attacking plays.
Playing Deeper Than typical Strikers: Unlike previous strikers, Manchester United's latest addition is unlikely to play in a typical striker position. According to the experts, Hojlund is more likely to play deeper than the team's wingers. This positioning is consistent with Ten Hag''s preferred style of play, as he has used players such as Jaden Sancho in a deeper role throughout the preseason. Hojlund's positioning will match the Dutch coach’s strategic objective for the team by receiving the ball wide and quickly going towards the centre zones.
