Xavi Hernandez guided Al Sadd's his first training session in more than three months as players emerged from lockdown during the coronavirus pandemic.

The reigning Qatar Stars League champions are preparing for the final five rounds of their interrupted season. Currently third on the table, Al Sadd sits 10 points adrift from league leaders Al Duhail.

Al Sadd is also preparing for the Asian Champions League, although the AFC have yet to determine which country will host the competition.

Al Sadd are also hoping to welcome Spanish midfielder Santi Carzola, who is alledgedly in advanced talks to join the club in the summer.
