'You let your country down': Man Utd's Rashford & Sancho score amid taunts in Leeds; Watch
Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford had to face taunts from Leeds United fans during the Premier League match on Wednesday. The match ended in a 2-2 draw.

Manchester United h to endure taunts from Leeds United fans during Premier League 2022-23 match at Old Trafford stium on Wednesday night. Despite cruel taunts, Marcus Rashford and Jon Sancho emerged as goal scorers for home side and salvd a hard-fought 2-2 draw. As reported by Associated Press, away section of fans at Old Trafford were heard chanting, “You let your country down”.
It was understood that taunts were targeted at club, in reference to ir strikers missing penalties during Euro 2020 final shootout against Italy. Euro 2020 final ended in a 1-1 draw before Italian team won match 3-2 in penalties. Rashford alongside Sancho and Bukayo Saka h tably failed to convert during penalty shootout.

It is pertinent to mention that Rashford and Sancho’s strike rescued United from a tricky situation after y were down by 0-1 at halftime. "Wanted a different dynamic"
match marked English forward’s return to first team after he was given time off earlier this season. 22-year-old h struggled for consistency since joining Manchester United in summer of 2021. Sancho played for Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund before moving to Old Trafford.

United manr Erik ten Hag was all praise for goal scorers after match. Speaking about Sancho, Dutch manr said, “I am really happy he is in right direction, I hope he can keep his momentum going and I am sure it will strengn him and motivate him even more. He is a brilliant footballer and if he can invest in right levels he can be outstanding”.
Shedding his views on win, Ten Hag ded, “I wanted a different dynamic. In that moment we weren’t in game. Luckily it succeeded because we scored two goals”.
