Ziyech 'unclear' on when he will play for Chelsea, saddened by early Ajax finish

Midfielder Hakim Ziyech revealed his disappointment at being denied a farewell league title with Ajax after the Eredivisie was cancelled on Friday.

Ajax were level at the top of the table with AZ Alkmaar, with just nine games remaining.

Ziyech, who is set to join Chelsea on July 1st, was battling for a second straight Eredivisie crown, before the Dutch Football Association declared the season null and void as a result of the coronavirus outbreak.

The Moroccan international also added that he has been in discussions with Chelsea head coach Frank Lampard ahead of his move to Stamford Bridge.
