Italy is one of worst affected countries by coronavirus outbreak in world. Thousands have died in European country with several more having tested positive for virus. Under such circumstances, AC Milan striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has come forward with an initiative to raise funds to counter menace of Italy coronavirus pandemic.

In a video posted by Zlatan Ibrahimovic, AC Milan striker has appealed to people to come forward in fight against pandemic. He states that he has set up a fundraiser to help Humanitas Hospital amid Italy coronavirus outbreak. 38-year-old expects his colleagues to be generous and donate towards ble cause. former LA Galaxy striker has asked people to stand united to "kick coronavirus away".

Italy is second-most affected country after China in world. Wednesday saw death of 475 people in country, most deaths recorded in a single day across world. Fearing pandemic, all sporting events in Italy have been called off until April.

Serie A games that were being played behind closed doors have been suspended until April 3. Or leagues have taken lessons from Italy, with likes of Premier League, LaLiga and Bundesliga, suspending all fixtures until next month.
